Our First Couple Weeks
During our first couple weeks we have been learning all about the rules in preschool and our four-year-old class. The two units we have covered are "All About Preschool" and "I Am Special." Some fun things we did were to measure our friends in blocks and measure our feet in cubes. Skills we are working on in class right now are recognizing our name; and learning how to print it in all capital letters, printing from top to bottom, how to correctly hold scissors, and counting with one-to-one correspondence. Counting each thing and only saying one number per touch is a hard concept for some of us still. We are reviewing numbers 1-10 and all the capital letters of the alphabet.

The picture of the girls on the phone is priceless. Their parents may want to pull it out in a few years and compare. Riley already looks like a teenager, resting her face in her hands. :)
