Our First Visit to the Library

The kids in our Monday class will get to visit with our church librarian, another Ms. Joyce, as an extra special this year. They were all very proud to pick out their own book yesterday. Ms. Joyce went over reminders of ways we take care of books with them. Would you go over the rules with your children while they lovingly read them at home?

1. We don't sit or stand on books.

1. We don't draw or write in books.

1. We carefully turn the pages so they do not tear.

1. We don't eat or drink while we read a library book.

1. And Ms. Joyce asked that the big kids not share these library books with younger brothers and sisters who may not know how to take care of them.

The children may keep the book for a week. Those who have returned it by next Monday will get to check a new book out when we go back to the library.Enjoy!
