We had some excited kids at school today, but we packed in as much as we could before we had to let out early!
We went over the letter B and the number 6 today.
We took turns looking through books and each time we found the letter B or b we placed a counter in a bowl and added up the total. You can do this activity at home to reinforce the letters as we learn them each week.
We also learned about all kinds of signs in our world and why they are important. We looked at pictures of yield signs, walk/don't walk, stop signs, signs that told us which bathroom to go in.... and we talked about that this picture reading helps people who can't read follow the rules or know where to go. Then we made signs reminding people to wash their hands. We hung them all in the bathroom if you would like to see them next week.
Our Bible story was about Baby Moses. Next week is the Red Sea, so we can continue with the Moses story when we come back next week. Enjoy your snow days!
